The Truth Lies Behind Everything That Makes All True
Not sure who needs to read this—maybe not those who have life all figured out because they already know the power they hold. But for those of you who continue to create a reality you despise, just because you’re unconscious of the power you wield.
How many times have you thought something would happen, and it did just as you predicted? “That won’t work for me,” you say. “I can’t do that.” And like a twisted miracle, everything unfolds just as you foretell. The universe, always obliging, politely mirrors your beliefs back to you. “Oh, you think life is tough? Sure, here’s another obstacle. You think people are untrustworthy? No problem, here’s a line-up of betrayals just waiting for you.”
It’s almost like you’re handing out a script, and life is dutifully following along. The question is, how much do you trust your experience? For some reason, it’s always there to back you up, to show you that what you believe inevitably materializes. Have you paused to contemplate how extraordinary this is? How powerful you truly are, that life aligns itself with your every thought?
Here’s the truth: YOU CREATE YOUR REALITY. You are the source, the artist, the one holding the brush. How is that possible? Let’s consider something. Take a belief—let’s say, “life is hard” or “everything’s a struggle.” Now, if you hold that belief, how do you act? You get up each day armed for battle, because life is, of course, a battlefield. And guess what? Everyone you meet is the enemy, out to get you. Naturally, you’re on edge, ready to fire at the slightest provocation. Sometimes, you realize it was a false alarm, not the enemy at all—but wasn’t that a close call? Better keep that armour up.
Before you know it, your life is a war-zone, just as you predicted.
And then you see these carefree, happy people who seem to have it all figured out, right? They’re out there talking about positivity, inner peace, happiness... and you can’t help but ask yourself, "What planet are these people from?" Seriously, do they even live in the real world? And yet, there they are, living in what seems like some sort of fairy tale. How on earth is that possible? Could it be that they don’t cling to life like it's a sinking ship? Maybe they see life as something they get to create instead of something they just survive?
Do they really wake up every day, treating life like a blank canvas, a new dish to cook up—just to see what masterpiece they can make today? Meanwhile, you’re over here in full battle mode, and they're... painting? Are they somehow making their own rules? Is it true they’re not out there chasing happiness like the rest of us—they’re actually living it? How annoying is that? And success? They don’t even seem to strive for it. They just walk around being successful.
Every brushstroke, every decision they make—could it really be their own? An expression of their truth? And they’re just fine with how it turns out? How? Could it be because they understand that today’s painting is simply a reflection of who they are today, and tomorrow, it might look totally different—and they're totally cool with that? Is that what they’ve mastered—the whole idea of embracing the process instead of clinging to the result?
So, who are you really?
Are you the painter or just the canvas? Are you out there shaping your life, or are you letting life drip paint all over you, molding you into someone else’s vision? Seriously, have you thought about this? You could choose to let others dictate your strokes, follow their designs, or you could actually pick up that brush and paint your own reality.
Now, let’s not kid ourselves here: you control everything. No one is doing anything without your permission. Ever thought about that? You’ve never been without control. So, whether you like it or not, being the canvas is still a reality you chose for yourself.
So, what’s it going to be? Either way, there will be a painting. The real question is, will it reflect your own unique style, or will it just be a canvas filled with someone else’s expectations?
Every choice you make creates the reality you’ll live in. That’s your power. You are always cooking up your life, mixing ingredients—beliefs, thoughts, actions. The outcome? That depends entirely on what you put into the mix.
So, why am I writing this?
To remind you that you’re powerful. So powerful, in fact, that you’ve probably made yourself miserable a few times. Or maybe you’ve convinced yourself you’re a victim. A loser. Or maybe a winner, joyful, sad, or whatever label you’ve crafted. Your reality is yours. It’s not the reality. It is just your reality, and the truth is, we only live our own reality. And if you don’t like what you’re seeing, you can change it.
You might be thinking, "Who are you to tell me what the truth is?" Well, it's my truth. And if you don't believe it, guess what? That's your truth too. See how it works? Like it or not, your beliefs are running the show. So the real question is: What are you going to do about it?
